Received the product today and as I suspected, a light yellow lens like this is very difficult to be truly effective as a polarized lens, darker tints are better for polarizing film coating to be effective to reduce glare. However, I took a chance on my first pair of KDs to see if I would be pleasantly surprised. While I like the yellow lens KDs I am a bit disappointed they have no polarizing effect at all to help with riding or driving in the late evening. But I will still use the glasses when I need to as an option and will likely order other KDs in different lens tints. I do have other true polarized glasses for riding brown is best for contrast for me so I probably wont order a dark tint KD...at least not right now. Overall though the glasses are a good buy for the money and recommend them to others

I have always used these for my basic sunglasses. I had my nephew convinced that I had the same pair since the 90's. But I love these. I am trying the polarized for the 1st time and I love them!! I also got the color mirrored that I use when it snows they are darker. I order these direct from Pacific Coast because If I have problems with any order they are quick to address.
